Somehow I ended up with an extra one of these. The glass is perfect, and the cosmetics are fine as well. There is the remnant of a sticker on the front element barrel that I've had some difficulty in removing, although I've been told it can be easily removed with a little patience and some de-gumming stuff, neither of which I have.
The downside to this lens is that it needs a lubrication ... there's some looseness in the barrel or front element group. I've seen lenses much worse than this that still make great photos, but, frankly, I'd suggest a CLA for this puppy. With that in mind, the price is low: $70.00 + shipping.
