FS (late): smc Pentax-F 28mm
I'm a little short of cash this month - substitute teaching is a little slow during July and August! Selling my smc Pentax-F 28mm f/2.8. I'm asking $275 Very good condition - body has no scratches or marks. Glass is scratch, dirt, and fungus-free. Perhaps a few specks of dust internally, but nothing that detracts from the image. Auto-Focus works as it should. Aperture ring clicks into place properly. Comes with original Pentax front and rear caps. Email me for an estimate for shipping. FS (late): Katz Eye Plus focussing screen (*ist DS)
My K10D underexposes 2/3 stop with this screen, so I'm looking to sell it now. I paid about $130 for it a year ago. It's clean, no scratches or marks. Split prism with microprism collar, no Optibrite treatment or crop marks. asking $75USD + shipping, obo. -- Cheers, [EMAIL PROTECTED] MichaelHamilton.ca -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net

Did it affect the autofocus or metering levels at all? I am interested, but I want to make sure I'm not screwing myself with my DA 16-45. -Mat -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net

Are you not keen on dialing in +2/3 on the K10D while you have the screen in place? I am interested, but I want to make sure I'm not screwing myself with my DA 16-45. -Mat Mat, I found the same thing with my custom Katz Eye screen (no microprism or split image) for the DS fitted in the K10D: consistent and reliable underexposure with by 0.7EV with the K10D compared to the OEM screen. In the DS model, it produces exactly the same exposure as the DS OEM screen. Autofocus happens in front of the screen so it affects nothing there. The Katz Eye screens with microprism and split image will throw off the Spot metering mode now and then, a little bit dependent upon the lens you're using too IIRC. It has to do with alignment of the metering sensor, the focusing aids and the exit pupil of a particular lens. On 1/27/07, Alastair Robertson [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Are you not keen on dialing in +2/3 on the K10D while you have the screen in place? Alastair Well, part of my reason for selling it is that I no longer own any manual focus lenses - so the split screen isn't as necessary - especially if it induces 2/3 stop over exposure. I'm actually looking to order the Eyepiece Magnifier, O-ME53, for my K10D. -- Cheers, [EMAIL PROTECTED] MichaelHamilton.ca -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
FS (late): 645/35 K Adapter FA 75/2.8 Lens
For sale is my mint condition 645 FA 75mm /f2.8 lens with 645/K Adapter. This is the standard 645 lens with the adapter that allows the 645 series lenses to attach to 35mm Pentax bodies (including digital series K10D, K1000, *istD, DS DL). This is ONLY sold as a set. They will not be separated. I purchased this thinking I would try to obtain some long 645 glass for my K10D, but have since decided to seek my long lens needs on another platform instead. Asking $320 plus shipping and PayPal fees. Will consider shipping outside US if you are willing to pay necessary fees. Generally the store looks fine to me. But I think it would look even better if standardised at one font. Neovenator is written in a futuristic font, bread text and links are in a strait font, and the third font at the thumbs is very different. Personally I find that font hard to read and rather disturbing. One of the rules in web design is to standardise at one font. Perhaps another in heading, but that is considered to be max. Rules are made to be broken, but I think that's a good rule. Hi John I just had a quick glance at your site. I like the presentation and the make of the 12 month calendars. The top part of a webpage is quite important and lost here for a gray area without reason. I would like to see a bonus photo on the cover of a calendar, not a copy of a monthly photograph. Would make it richer for me. Generally the store looks fine to me. But I think it would look even better if standardised at one font. I think you're right. I'll have to spend time tomorrow rethinking my fonts, because, yeah, that scripty font on the section images does get hard to read a lot of the time. I guess since I spent so much time putting it all together, it never really dawned on me that the casual observer might not appreciate it. Perhaps, too, I'm overly used to designing things for the store I used to work at, where my boss tended to like fancy scripty things, regardless of how difficult they were to read at times. FS Late Friday
Pentax MZ-5n + battery grip. Mint with boxes and instruction manual. I took about 6 slide films with this camera, perfect results all the time (mostly with a 24-90mm). I have it for sale as I found a MZ-3 two months ago. $255. + shipping Pentax MZ-3 + grip. Like new in Boxes with instruction booklet. I took only one film with this one two months ago and soon after found a MZ-S, so I have it for sale. I bought this MZ-3 from an american guy who had acquired a bunch of new MZ-3 from Pentax Canada. I understand Pentax had just discontinued the model in Canada (while the MZ-5n is still in the catalog). The grip is new in box, not opened. The body seems to work perfectly but I have not taken photos with external flash (only with the built-in one). I have no reason to believe it would not work perfectly with external flash. International warranty cards, included, have no value as you always need the original bill to use them. So, my warranty if anything is wrong, same for MZ-5n. $315. + shipping Also a mint Pentax SMC-FA 100-300mm, f/4.7 silver model. $105. + shipping Please contact me off line if interested. Andre
