Patrick,

Searching can be tedious if you're looking for a particular comment that
"someone" made about a popular subject, like a 50mm lens or autofocus or
the LX.

Recently someone referred to his "abominable" 35-135 PKA zoom. This struck
me as curious, for I had read that it's nearly as good as the acclaimed
35-15 PKA zoom. I would have saved it to inquire later, but decided not to
because I could remember that he used "abominable." Plus, 35-135 doesn't
appear often.

Hi Anand:
If you use either Outlook or Outlook Express, you can create folders within the
programs for any groups you like. Every now and then, archive the folders to
CD or disk and delete the older ones to save space. Periodically, Outlook at
least will ask whether it can do the same job anyway, creating a *.pst file
containing the archived messages. I do this myself, and any keepers I just
move to the appropriate folder - a two-click operation usually.

When I used to get the list as individual mail messages, I moved the mail
to another folder to keep it. It was easy and I found I did this a lot.
Before the website was "fixed", I could save an article I saw on it by
replying to it and changing the reply address to myself. Not quite as easy,
but still convenient, and I could copy it to home for permanent archival. I
found I did this some.
Now the website has been fixed and I find saving articles from it too
difficult to bother with. If I wanted to through, I'd try saving the html
page from the browser. However, I haven't missed it because I don't seem to
see much worthy of archiving anymore. Not quite sure why that should be the
case (maybe I've just gotten blase about photography or something).

BTW, if you trust the archives, they are searchable. So perhaps you don't
need to save anything at all?
