Re: Few PESOs by Boris and Galia
So that's what Galilee looks like. Thanks Boris. I'll picture it that way when I here it mentioned, which is often. ;-) On Mon, Aug 8, 2011 at 12:58 PM, Boris Liberman wrote: > Hi! > > During that trip to Upper Galilee recently, one of the evenings we > drove by the hills late afternoon and shot some landscapes. Re: Few PESOs by Boris and Galia
Very nice, I like 30-hill-of-galilee tight crop the most, 32 and 31 in that order. about 30-hill-of-galilee, I really like that curvy road embracing the houses, the four layers (deserted foreground, tiny town, mountains and sky) and the combination of colours: light brown, desat green and light hazy blue, which makes a for very pleasing harmonious photo. I like Galia's a bit more than yours - framed a bit tighter, works a bit better. Re: Few PESOs by Boris and Galia
Boris, I took a look for the EXIF data, but not avail. I see the temperature difference you mentioned. I wonder about the relative camera settings and exposure.(?) You mentioned that both you and Galia were using K-7's, but believe I saw K-5 noted for your shot.(?) Few PESOs by Boris and Galia
Hi! During that trip to Upper Galilee recently, one of the evenings we drove by the hills late afternoon and shot some landscapes. Also twice I woke up early and went on hunting for light. So here are the PESOs on these subjects: http://pentax-ways.blogspot.com/2011/08/peso-2011-30-hill-of-galilee.html (Galia and Boris) http://pentax-ways.blogspot.com/2011/08/peso-2011-31-sun-is-rising.html (Boris) http://pentax-ways.blogspot.com/2011/08/peso-2011-32-hills-of-galilee.html (Boris) A little point about the first two images (the same village shot by Galia with K-7 and DA21 and Boris with K-7 and FA 20). No matter how I tried I couldn't bring the color balance to match. So they look somewhat different in this respect. Be brutal and honest, as usual.
