Ted, The size of the displayed photo and the Rube-Goldberg nature of the Pentax Gallery doesn't do justice to your fine photo. Regards, Bob S. Re: First photo at PPG
Bruce, you win a cigar, I did have a polarizer on but I only was cutting about half the reflections. I wanted to keep the reflections of the bluffs but also wanted the texture of the rocks on the streambed to show through. I thought it was interesting how it ended up just cutting the sky. That's not a criticism, it makes the reds really pop. I'm not quite sure how to submit photos. The closest I can find is to find the contact us link and send them a note. It commonly takes up to a week so, if you don't hear back, trying again is the way to go. Re: First photo at PPG
Yes Larry, it was blue light because I was shooting in deep shade. I tried warming it some but didn't like the effect on the colors. Two more photos have now been accepted into the gallery for a total of three. I'm gaining on you Bong. Still a ways to go though. Ted The eye of the viewer becomes the eye of the Photographer.
