Ted,
The size of the displayed photo and the Rube-Goldberg nature of the
Pentax Gallery doesn't do justice to your fine photo.

Great shot, Ted. The reflections are very strong with deep colour. Just
curious: did you use a polarizer?

I see that the PPG Flash code is just as ponderous and baroque as ever. I
almost bailed before seeing your shot. But I'm glad I waited for the whole
 Rube-Goldbergian affair to finish. :-)

Re: First photo at PPG

Bruce, you win a cigar, I did have a polarizer on but I only was cutting about
half the reflections. I wanted to keep the reflections of the bluffs but also
wanted the texture of the rocks on the streambed to show through. I thought it
was interesting how it ended up just cutting the sky.

Very nice. Is the color a little on the blue side? That's not a criticism, it
makes the reds really pop.

I'm not quite sure how to submit photos. The closest I can find is to find the
contact us link and send them a note. I tried that a while ago, and never heard
back. I just tried again with a link to my book preview.

Well, that's the way it's done. They should get back to you with an
'Artist's Code'. It commonly takes up to a week so, if you don't hear
back, trying again is the way to go.

Yes Larry, it was blue light because I was shooting in deep shade. I tried
warming it some but didn't like the effect on the colors.

Two more photos have now been accepted into the gallery for a total of three.
I'm gaining on you Bong. Still a ways to go though.
