Re: GESO: Tulips
Wendy I LOVE tulips! I'm guessing you had fun playing with the different styles - but I'm also guessing that you'd like some feedback on which presentations other of us prefer... easier to say what I don't like than do- as there are far more lovely ones than ones that dont work I find the last one ugly - the angle on the flower -- and I don't care for the two that you used the arty frames on -- The flowers are so beautiful themselves I don't think they need that embelishment (but it is hard to resist playing with them.) so, were they mine, I'd remove these 4 http://www.pbase.com/wendybeard/image/95190076 http://www.pbase.com/wendybeard/image/95190057 http://www.pbase.com/wendybeard/image/95190037 http://www.pbase.com/wendybeard/image/95190039 and, finally, I really would like to know more about what they are -- their names beyond "tulip" (I guess that comes from my having to get everything down to genus and species to submit a plant or animal to my stock agency in the olden days - but I'm curious about them, too.) Bought them and took them home. They might not have been too happy with me at Loblaws if I'd been cluttering up their flower section :-) Wendy On Mon, Apr 7, 2008 at 10:40 AM, David J Brooks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Those are lovely, Wendy. > > I am guessing you did those in a flower shop, or from flowers you purchased > and then did them at home.? > > Dave > > > > On Sun, Apr 6, 2008 at 10:32 AM, wendy beard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Looks like spring might almost be here at last. Those are lovely, Wendy. I am guessing you did those in a flower shop, or from flowers you purchased and then did them at home.? Wendy, a beautifully worked subject. Many very nice elements as well as well chosen backgrounds. Much to like!
