Dan,

Lovely flowers well captured!
The spring, indeed brought many wonderful colors, - very inspiring!

The very first one, "Dogwood Buds" has the most unusual point of view (to 
me), and hence the overall look.


It is different for different people, - but for my taste, in some cases, - 
I would consider framing with just a bit more space around the "main 
subject", - so that the flower (on inflorescence) is not filling up the 
entire frame.
From taking photos of similar subjects, I know that it is often difficult 

to do that while not crowding the image. It might still be worth trying.

Great! I'm glad you were able to connect!

I fixed the problem that was blocking you - it was not your IP address 
blocked via .htaccess (which I do) but rather the blogging platform's 
blacklist (which comes from the B2Evolution community) that was blocking 
comcast.net.  I removed it from my local blacklist though.

Thanks Alan! Based on the conversion rate I just pulled up - R46,000 
would be an outrageously high price for this lens. One sold recently on 
ebay in a no-reserve auction for around $1,700 but there are routinely 
much higher asking prices. I do wish that a longer(150mm-200mm) macro 
was available new for Pentax.

Sorry about that, Jack. I sometimes block IP addresses in htaccess and 
must of added yours by mistake. (Unless you are in China in which case I 
have tried to block all IP addresses.) I pruned the list so hopefully it

Sorry about that, Jack. I sometimes block IP addresses in htaccess and 
must of added yours by mistake. (Unless you are in China in which case I

Just got back from Traverse City. East and West Grand Traverse Bay water 
temp was 34 degrees F. It snowed alittle last Sunday !


Went to Leland and saw almost solid ice between Leland and The Manitou 
Islands - gonna be a long time before

that sstuff is gone!

Very nice photos.  The weather here lately has been very good for mushrooms.
