Thanks, Charles

I was hoping to duplicate Mr. Morton's shot of Charlotte, but not quite
clear enough Saturday. I've been wanting to try a panoramic landscape using
PT Assembler, so I took advantage of the clear air to give it a try.

Nice shot Bill. I know the weather was great for January!

That is making me long to be there sooner than
 June

You should see the 8x34 print!

Though it is probably a bit rough up there in the
 winter!

It can be, but it's North Carolina's skiing area, so the roads usually get
cleared pretty quick.

I am seriously considering it. But my schedule is frequently the victim
of business trips. So it really does me no good to plan in advance.
However, I won't hesitate to book a last minute flight if I'm free. I
would love to see a flock of PDMLers on this beautiful mountain.

BTW, great shot, Bill. Hard to believe that's not a single shot!

Beautiful view, nice shot. Makes me want to go there. Who knows what
the spring will bring?

That's a pride of PDML, Paul.

You might not be able to get into the program if you wait too long to register
this year (I understand it may be the first time that people may not be able to
sign up at the gate), but you could still get on the mountain and visit. That is
what I will be doing.

Also you will probably find it interesting that a lot of car ads have been
filmed there on the road up the mountain.
