I would really like to know what the white balance settings are for the
standard tungsten and so on. It's nice being able to change it but I'd
like to have a rough idea of where I've got to move it to.

Thanks, Mike! Even though I don't have the *istD (yet), I downloaded it,

IF anyone else here is having trouble getting it to show the entire
interface without having to scroll around all the time, the answer (on
windows XP at least) is to go into Regional and Language Options and on
the Advanced tab set the non-unicode language to Japanese. You may need
to select the option on the languages tab to install east asian
langauuges for Japanese to be available on the list first though. This
does make some characters (\ for example) display a bit naffly
unfortunataly, so you will probably want to toggle this on when using
Genzo then off again afterwards. Its a shame, because you have to
reboot whenever you change this value...!

Genzo is a royal pain in the a**e unless you do that though!

BTW, I have found noise control much better in Pentax Lab, but
sharpening better in Genzo. White balance is also a bit tricky in
Genzo, but you do get a much bigger preview and it creates the jpg files
much quicker too.

Genzo

2003-11-15 Thread Bucky
Hello All,

Due to the huge number of requests I've had for Genzo, I've posted it for
people to download themselves, at:
www.justicebehindthewalls.net/resources/GENZO_B2.exe. Download whould start
immediately. Just plunk it onto your hard drive and start it up.

I make no apologies for the atrocious user interface, since I had nothing to
do with it.

I'll can probably only leave it up for a few days, so get it while you can!

Cheers,

Mike
