Re: Going to have to start carrying a camera again
I have at least, a, camera with me at all times. Depends on the mode, might be a Pentax, might be a Nikon. I like to rotate. Justifies all of those bodies. LOL For the most part, i keep the istD and either a 28 or 50 on it, with my lunch bag. Good color, quick power-up, fast focusing and generally a nice camera to use. If you're fine with "program mode" photography, the F20 can be had for about $140. F30 (with Av and Tv modes) is $199 at NewEgg right now (just ordered one). Great for the "quickie" shots and puts the image quality of an iPaq or Treo to shame. Really. examples from my first month of using one: http:// charles.robinsontwins.org/photos/2007/f20_january/ Well a bit off-topic but I'm surprised to see that my desire for a K10D is diminished a bit by the fact that my most-carried camera lately is a little P&S Maybe I'll get over it. -Charles -- Charles Robinson - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minneapolis, MN http://charles.robinsontwins.org I am riding in the MS-TRAM this summer. I carry a camera all the time ... either of the Pentax bodies, the Fuji F30 or the Treo 650. There are many photos in my library that would never have happened if I didn't. Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
Re: Going to have to start carrying a camera again
Or perhaps a Pentax Optio? I have the older Optio 555 - very convenient. Re: Going to have to start carrying a camera again
I missed a shot today too: this morning, for some silly reason I put the FA50/1.7 on the K10D before going out. Walking in the coffee shop, I turned I saw, about two meters from me, a guy walking three small dogs, two of them carrying a newspaper each in their mouths. Lens too long, I was too close, even if I had been farther the perspective would be all wrong. I had taken out the DA21 ten minutes before... j On 4/25/07, graywolf <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Missed shot today: College student riding a self-propelled beer cooler > down the road.
