Hi Mike, I am living at the moment in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. And in 45 days, I will go to Cairo. As I am emergency / disaster doctor, I do not know where do I go for short mission when I am based in Cairo. Hi Amirkambiz, Welcome to the PDML! Things are nice now, but be prepared for the next storm of flame war. Help, Lost K10D CD
Dear Colleagues, I have lost K10D accompany cd and now I do not know what to do. Unfortunately; the Pentax site does not provide it. Any idea what should I do? Cheers, Amirkambiz P.S: there was a discussion about the hosting pictures, I find www.bluehost very good. It provides 300 GB for 7.99 US$/ month. Go here: http://www.pentax.co.jp/english/support/digital/k10d_s.html If the update doesn't take care of the problem, navigate around Pentax's site from there. My K10D has not arrived yet, so I can't help out any more. Maris Amirkambiz Hamedanizadeh wrote: Dear Colleagues, I have lost K10D accompany cd and now I do not know what to do. Re: Help, Lost K10D CD
There's nothing on the CD that isn't available from the Pentax website. Pentax Photo Lab and Pentax Photo Browser have been updated since the CD was made anyway. Pentax seems to have stopped that requirement. I was able to update to PPB v3.11 without having the CD in a drive. RE: Help, Lost K10D CD
Dear Maris and Godfrey, Thank you for response. Unfortunately the updates, ask for original CD in order to be installed!!! So I do not know what to do now? For temporary solution, I copied the Pentax directory from my other computer to the new computer; apparently some of its function is working, but not all the function. I appreciate advices in this regard. Cheers, Amirkambiz -Original Message- From: Maris V. RE: Help, Lost K10D CD
Thank you, I do not think so, as I can not install PBLV0311 as it also needs verification. I think you have installed the PBLV0310 and then after update, it does not ask for verification.
