Joseph, 1500 frames and he got 48 with faint meteor traces. The picture is spectacular, but the disc space involved is a bit excessive for me. Thank God it's not film and prints. Why would you keep any more than the 48? That's like shooting a fence post 1500 times and keeping them all, even though the image you were going after only manifested itself in a few. Of course, I've never thrown out a digital image. I just make them invisible in Aperture with a '9' designate.
