RE: OT: I Sold one!
Congrats, Marnie. Many happy returns ! I sell photographs from time to time too. I don't make a lot of money, but it helps financing an expensive hobby :-) Keep up the good work! And do remember to restict the buyers use of the photograph, so you can sell it again, and again, and again, and again Regards Jens Bladt http://www.jensbladt.dk +45 56 63 77 11 +45 23 43 85 77 Skype: jensbladt248 -Oprindelig meddelelse- Fra: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] vegne af Paul Stenquist Sendt: 11. december 2006 02:43 Til: Pentax-Discuss Mail List Emne: Re: OT: I Sold one! This one was print alone. Not mounted or matted. No, the bar doesn't get a cut. AFAIK, that's not the norm around here (not that I have much experience with these things). I've always figured the bar or cafe or restaurant or whatever is getting free stuff to put up on the walls. And, the guy last night had a pretty good night at the bar. Like I said, at the height of the evening there were likely 40 people there, and most stayed for at least several drinks. Not counting friends and acquaintances of mine there for the opening, there might have been 6 to 10 strangers there who had nothing to do with our "group". cheers, frank "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds.
