Yes, really quiet, probably more so than the K-5 or K-5IIs. The AF beep is different as well... almost like a Blue Jay (for Brooksie). The loudness of the K-3 shutter is almost the same as K-5, but it sounds a bit different. Nothing metallic, nothing unpleasant, the tone is just a little bit higher.
