Only with the *ist-D, when it got cold enough the batteries power would go low and the camera would get "wonky". The date on my K20D is off by a couple of months. Looking back in my photo EXIF, photos taken in December show Oct 09 dates. I reset the date and time this morning. The shutter count seems intact.
