Well, I'll settle for that. I just want to keep my LX happy ;-) Paul "David P. Chernicoff" wrote: > > At 04:57 PM 3/11/2001 -0500, PAUL STENQUIST wrote: > >Oops, I meant the manual wind lever. Re: LX rewind lever cover
Last I heard, Pentax was still supporting the LX and I expect them to support it for some time to come. I Understand Pentax US had all parts necessary last year and I expect they have this part today to restore any LX to an "as sold" late model state. That being said, I own 5 LX's and none have or ever had a "little plastic (?) cover off[on] the top of the rewind [knob/lever]. They have a black/metallic rewind knob out of which a rewind crank folds similar to all my camera types. It is naked with no cover as are all my other cameras. Did you loose this crank/knob? Regards, Bob... Give blood. Play hockey. LX rewind lever cover
When I was out shooting yesterday, I somehow knocked the little plastic (?) cover off the top of the rewind know on my LX. I looked around the area where I was shooting for a while, but couldn't find it. (I was on frozen mud and grass, so the odds were against finding it.) Is there some way I can obtain a cap? Would Pentax supply that as a part? I don't suppose anyone out there has an LX that they've relegated to the parts bin? Paul - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
