I wouldn't call that a point selector. It's basically the same as on 
the 645NII. In user manual lingo (for Ryan g), it is a selection 
between wide and narrow AF area. One can hardly argue that to be a 
multi point AF.

The slider to the right of the eyepiece looks like it might select 
beween a spot sensor and a wider angle sensor.


BTW, the top LCD is indicating +ve exposure compensation, so 1/4000 may 
not be the fastest shutter speed.  Or it may be a total mockup.

Interesting that a lot of stuff is masked out on the 645d back- must be 
trying to hide some sort of advantage they think they have -or- it's got 
a long way to go.

The shot of the D is much higher res here as well. Note that there is 
an X setting on the exposure selection wheel. Does that suggest high 
speed synch? I hope we get at least 1500th.

My guess is it will have the hyper-function of the PZ-1p (and *ist-D),
where you can switch between Av/Tv/P using the dials (and the green
button - the original reason for including that button on the *ist-D?),
plus the green-button hyper-manual mode.

I doubt very much that a 21mm lens which is that compact will cover
