If you are using the web browser (Safari) to access your gmail
account, the latest Software Updates included a new major release of
Safari (v2.x.x to v3.0.4). This *might* require that you purge the
cache (menu command "Safari -> Empty Cache...") so that a web
application like the gmail client can reload its data properly.

Not sure. I didi not know there was two things, i just thought email only.

What ever i was usung before, i am quessing web mail interface. One
other thing i have noticed. It stil checks spelling, but when i click
on the hi-lited word, no pop up suggestion windows pop up, and the
browser bar up top never fully loads. The web address gets hi-lited
about two thirds then the hi-lite stops. It still opens stuff up
though.

Weird. This was after doing a check for software, and downloading new
stuff for itunes etc and a OSX update to allow inter action for
Leapard stuff, i think.
