It shows some very creative effects. I like the way it shows the difference in motion and stillness of the various subjects. I know almost nothing about photoshop so I have no idea whether they are just layered, as in a standard multiple exposure, stitched, like in HDR or panoramas or what. If this style became cliche' I would tire of it quickly, but like a brash buxom young lass, I could certainly enjoy it now and then. That's a direct link to the image on Pinterest, so non-Pinterest-members should be able to view it (the standard link is http://www.pinterest.com/pin/322570392035559536/). Out of curiosity after last week's image and reported issues I made an inquiry to Pinterest about non-members having difficulty browsing the site. To my amazement they admitted that there's no way for someone to just browse through Pinterest without first signing up to join! The representative a communicated with did agree that this was an astonishing limitation for anyone hoping to use Pinterest to promote business or their work, so perhaps they'll fix this issue in the future. -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com (postbox on min4est) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: PESO: Oxford Circus
It captures well the bustle of Oxford Circus (world capital of pickpocketing), but the hdr is too heavy-handed for my taste, particularly on the buildings and the paving stones. I occasionally try to browse things on pinterest when google has sent me there, but it's a waste of time trying. What happened to the idea of the open internet? Organisations like pinterest can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Blocking Javascript would break most of the web these days. Javascript is foundation technology, along with HTML and CSS. Re: PESO: Oxford Circus
Really conveys a sense of motion and a busy downtown street corner. I find the colour noise jarring where it appears inconsistently, like on the girl's face and parts of the building walls, upper-right. Pinterest is trying hard to make themselves relevant to business and retailers, but their own architecture works against them. I use Pinterest purely for my own purposes, as a handy mood board and place to manage inspirational images, but I've unintentionally accumulated a few followers and viewers there.
