RE: PAW: Shel-inspired

Mark,

Well, I think this is the last of the stale PAWs for me to comment upon.
All the rest have either been commented on, or deleted (sight unseen - just
no time). For some reason this remained on my active list, likely because I
only deleted unseen posts, and once I looked at this, I had to comment
before I deleted. Or something like that! g

Well, you know Mark, it's interesting, but really doesn't do it for me. I
know, I know, you're thinking, what, this guy waits a week and a half only
to trash it? Well, I'm not really trashing it. I mostly like these sorts
of swirling lights at night type abstract shots. This one just doesn't seem
to have that focal point or smoothness that I like. Those 8 or so
vertical squigley lines dropping down to the bottom of the image bother me
for some reason (don't know why - they just do).

I don't know about you, but when I try these sorts of things (which I
haven't for a long time), I'll just take a bunch without really having a
concept of how they'll turn out, and then wait until I get them back and
hope that one or a couple turn out okay (come to think of it, that's what I
do with all my photos! g), so I'm not commenting on yours as someone who
has any particular expertise in this.

I have no idea why I'm blathering on about this, saying nothing in
particular, but I am.

I think I'll stop now.

To summarize, interesting, but disquieting for me.

thanks,
frank

Hey Folks,

One more for the week. This one was inspired by Shel. He sent me a similar
shot and decided to try it also. This shot was taken while driving (with
both hands on the wheel). It's the craziest one of all the frames I took.
Hope you enjoy:

I'm not even going to *ask* what you pressed the shutter button with.
