Well, I've already submitted my three, and the one I suspect will be chosen will not need sharpening, that's for sure. ;-) So this question is hypothetical (for next year maybe). I almost always selectively sharpen. Usually it's just the subject, sometimes just the face of the subject. Most of the frame remains unsharpened. How (if at all) could that be accomodated? In the past week or so, I printed out a bunch of my better shots as 8x12 and put them into photo albums. Just figuring out the pairing and ordering of my own shots was a tough enough job for me to gain a whole new measure of respect for the job that was done on last years annual.
