PESO's - Bumble Bee and Cave Cricket

2015-07-24 Thread Mark C

A couple of recent stacked macros:

Bumble Bee (found drowned in my cats water dish):

http://www.markcassino.com/b2evolution/index.php/bumble-bee

Cave Cricket:

http://www.markcassino.com/b2evolution/index.php/cave-cricket-family-rhaphidophoridae

C&C welcome. Usual setup with the Bee taken with the K 24 f3.5 and the
Cricket with the DFA 50mm macro.

A couple icky images, Mark C. ;o)
Cave Cricket looks a lot like a Grass Hopper.
Terrific clarity.

Incredible sharpness and detail on both images.
For some reason, I like the bumble bee a lot more. The cricket is a
bit creepy up that close.

Exceptional macro work, as always!

Thanks Jack! "Ichy" is a word I don't get to use much these days but it
aptly describes the loathsome cave cricket.

Both wonderful photos, but I like the bee just a bit better. Reminds
me of the professor in Back to the Future - all that wild hair.

Both terrific shots!

Christopher Lloyd! That's the actor I'm thinking of. The bee looks
