That's especially true WRT "fine art photography". I've also had big problems defining for myself, exactly what art is (beyond the "I know it when I see it" sort of thing). When I was in Nova Scotia last month, I got a rare opportunity to take a walk at dusk with my eldest daughter, Anne. Now that she's quite grown up and living in Halifax, 1000 miles away from me, we don't get to see much of each other anymore (thank goodness for cheap long distance ).
