Rick,
That's an interesting photo.
I enjoyed seeing the two blossoms up close and the detail in them.
I liked looking to the left and following the trail of blossoms up and
back to the tree.
The final tree trunk at the extreem left anchors the whole thing for me,
and sends my eye back to the blossoms.
Nice use of that lens!

The hard part is that the blossoms bounce around with
the slightest breeze, and the lens is just a few
inches away.  I made about 50 exposures, and only a
handful are without motion blur.

Nice.  The woods around here used to be filled with wild dogwoods, about 
20 years ago there was a dogwood blight of some kind.  The local wild 
trees haven't ever really recovered.

Hear, hear!   I might just have to shoot some blossoms with the
10-17 fisheye; there are a few good possibilities to explore ...
