Larry, if you watch the WildEarth channel you will see plenty of that. Man is just as bad but nowadays the prey animals & birds are (hopefully) killed in a more civilized fashion. I wonder how many people realise that a juicy steak was once part of a living animal? Then we have the Vegans who are totally opposed to man being at the top of a food chain. Haven't heard them complaining about the Lions or Orcas yet! Funny, all the unsolicited reels offered to me on instagram are about cats and dogs which are so cosy with each other, as well as wild animals befriended with people. My late dog was always ready to fight with cats, wheras animals in our local nature usually do not appreciate my presence. RE: PESO: Grey Heron
Thanks Jostein, the Heron was quite content and kind enough to sit there for quite some time. The weather and surrounds made for a very pleasurable afternoon, I think I'll be paying another visit soon, maybe I'll catch the Kingfishers there next time. Very interesting John, but a little busy for my taste - too much in focus and too strong foreground. Shows the bird and the place, I´d like more of the bird. Not that it´s easy as talking about it... RE: PESO: Grey Heron
Hi Toine, it's a really nice spot, unspoilt, near Martin Mere but really hard to find. Yes it really is the DA*300, the bokeh is generally very smooth but depends on the proximity of objects in the background somewhat. Thanks for your comments.
