A few weeks ago, we had a huge bullfrog in our swimming pool. I posted an image of that critter in a PESO here.
More recently, we have had a group of small frogs visiting our pool. Over the past week, we have fished out 2 dead ones, 2 live ones, and one that I thought was dead but revived as I was examining it. The one pictured below was the friendliest, and the most cooperative with my photographic efforts. After our photo session, I took him to a nearby stream, and released him there. The second image is solely to illustrate the size of these frogs; it is posed alongside a US quarter. http://dan-matyola.squarespace.com/danmatyolas-pesos/2020/7/27/tiny-frog K-5 IIs, smc FA 100 mm Macro F 2.8, mounted on a light monopod.
