PESO: NOT a Jersey Diner
This is definitely not a New Jersey Diner, either by location, appearance, style or menu. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorite little places, located in the lush tropical paradise of Iao Valley, on the Island of Maui. So, I may include it in my diner portfolio anyway. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=10917763 Comments will be greatly appreciated. Certainly, Jack. Thanks for asking. I don't have a photo of the restaurant with me at the office, but I probably could find one later. Re: PESO: NOT a Jersey Diner
Thanks for looking, Bob. I must say that most of the charm in the Cafe O'Lei is in the terrible pun in the name and its quiet location between two lovely Maui Parks and right behind the Nature Center. Makawao, on the corner of Main St and Baldwin. I tried it once, but there are so many nice little places in the cowboy and artist colony of Makawao that I haven't been back to eat there in years. I do love to photograph it, however.
