http://picasaweb.google.com/pentkon52/General/photo#5125620428037273858 I'm not really sure what drew me to this sign, the wording or implication i suppose. Anyway, there were quite a few of thes on Hwy 60, some were around Three Rivers Michigan. K10D, 16-45 shot on the fly with a bit of pan. So I went out this afternoon to get her a nice Southwestern photo. The building is known locally (in Corrales, New Mexico) as the Perea Dance Hall, and dates I believe from the 1930s: http://aycu01.webshots.com/image/9400/2003747306340199283_rs.jpg OH god, an ironic juxtaposition shot! thanks, Joe -- but what a study in contrasts - at least the sign doesn't have a www.blahblah.com on it. Looks like the snow is melting. ann - Over the years there have been several business in the building. They set up, put out a trendy sign, struggle for a while, then fold.
