PESO: Spring at Last

2022-03-21 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
The first real sign of spring in our yard this year is the appearance of
our Grape Hyacinths. They always precede the daffodils and and magnolias
by a week or more, and I was thrilled to see them out this morning enjoying
the sunny weather:

PESO: Spring -- at Last

2017-04-02 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
Finally, Spring arrived in full force today!
My daffodils are still bent over and muddy from the winter snows of March,
but at least they have burst into bloom.

The foreground is my rear deck, with our picnic table all set up for
a spring brunch on the deck. G

The fence in the background encloses our swimming pool and patio.

If I had a nicer back yard, it would look like that. Our snow was pretty
 much gone until Thursday night.
That looks more like a corral than a back yard in the background for some
reason. Do they have a pony?

Proving once again that Spring is not a date on the calender, it is a
state of mind.

Hmmph! As much manure as gets spread around here, there *SHOULD* be a pony.
