Looks like it could be a Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) from the general
morphology but they tend to be one of the last trees in leaf here. Have a look
at the Wiki page.

Looks like, over here, the guys and gals from the blue-light scene have

We're living just around the corner to a street that leads to four big
hospitals and it makes an enormous difference, especially at night.
Haven't slept as well in decades.

I heard a great many blackbirds today, and saw a fox in the next street at
about 4.30 pm - I don’t usually see h the em during the day. It’s perhaps
partly because the building sites are quiet at the moment.

That will come in a few weeks, here. The yellow dust that even sticks to
vertical window panes and all the fluff from the poplars.

Then again, pollen is no air pollution.

It will be interesting to see if any wildlife returns to the city. We
haven't had any birds except crows, pigeons, magpies and the occasional
blackbird. There used to be many more species, years ago. All gone.

Not here in North Carolina.

All the pollen in the air it looks like I'm walking through a snowstorm when I
take the dog out at night. During the day it looks like a mad painter has run
amok with a tanker truck of yellow paint.

The other thing I've noticed ... I take the dog out really late at night so he
can do his business just before we go to bed. It's eerily quiet out there, like
a scene from one of those post apocalypse movies where they show all the empty
streets.

I think if I was a film maker, I'd be getting all the stock footage I could
while this is going on.
