Suppose the sky is falling. Now, given the weight of the sky please
estimate the projected damage and specifically the amount of fuel spent
by police cars running around due to citizens' calls ;-).

Way cool!

They are terrific , Don but why the hell were you not in a
storm celler???
Scary stuff!

But if you want one to chose a favorite - I vote for the
first one, by a narrow margin.
The alst one is fascinating because what apre clouds on the
bottom look to me like a mountain or
serious hill - and there aren't any near there as I recall.

Whoa! Neat shots.

You know what's behind those clouds? The alien mother ship. Yup. They create
clouds to cover them up. Yup. I know, I've seen it in movies. Yup.

RE: PESO:The sky really IS falling!

2006-06-20 Thread Don Sanderson
Thanks everybody for the comments.
I think with a bit more finesse and practice some of these could be pretty
cool.
I wished I'd had something shorter than the 16, the sky almost completely
surrounded you with beautiful formations.
It was far more beautiful than scary, the clouds were moving like overhead
ocean
waves.
Never seen anything like it, probably never will again.
Have about 40 exposures to work on, we'll see what happens.
Glad I shot in RAW, thanks to those who promote it so strongly.
Working in 16bit really makes a difference with these, the tonal range
is huge.
