Re: PESO - Louvre Staircase
Thanks, Aahz. That's flare from a large window right over the relief. I tried cropping it out but thought that looked crummy. I may have to play with it more. The blurred figures look fine to me, just enough to suggest motion. What I see, though is that the relief over the staircase looks a bit blurred, can't tell whether it's out of focus or an artifact of the light (particularly with the bloom over the relief). To me that detracts more; would be a fine picture without it. -- Hugs and backrubs -- I break Rule 6 http://rule6.info/ <*> <*> <*> Help a hearing-impaired person: http://rule6.info/hearing.html -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Yeah, Dave, I think you're right... Too blurred to be accidental, but not blurred enough to be artistic. Re: PESO - Louvre Staircase
I agree with David Savage - more blur in the moving people to get them a little more abstracted would probably help. Maybe a chance to use you photo editors motion blur filter The core composition is excellent and the moving figures make a great counter to the staid symmetry of the stairs. Re: PESO - Louvre Staircase
Would you like it any better if it had no moving blurry figures? If you like moving blurry figures, these are pleasingly arranged.
