Thanks for noticing the conversion. I was rather happy with it.

:-)

I think you're right, the crop could be improved a bit.

Thanks for the comment!

I think my favourite part of it is the light. And the mood. And her hat.

Thanks for the comment. Thanks as well to everyone else who commented. Much

Very nice pose, and good B&W conversion. The crop is not distracting
for me but it could be improved. If you could keep her feet and the
bottom of the table it would be even better.

Re: PESO - Nadege

2014-06-03 Thread Igor Roshchin

Nice subject, overall framing[*] and the rest.

[*] But I had exactly the same reaction as Paul did.

It's interesting that the first thing that Google search for "nadege"
returned (at least to me, YMMV), is that patisserie:
https://www.google.com/search?q=nadege

It would've been cool if the subject turned out to be the namesake of
the place (e.g. Nadege du Bospertus).

Re: PESO - Nadege

2014-06-03 Thread knarf
Hi Paul,

I wasn't sure about that crop either. I can't show her feet because there's
stuff in the frame that had to be cropped out. Didn't want to go mid-calf
because I worried about softness.

I might fiddle with it later.

Thanks for your comments.

Cheers,

frank
