Interesting idea, might work better looking the other way and more
blurred trees.

What I like about it is that it gives me the feeling of 'being there',
but how it achieves this I cannot say. :)

I haven't seen all of your 'transit' pics, but from what I *have* seen
this one is my favorite. It would be nice to see it B&W whenever you
can get at computar that you allowed to do such things with :)

I disagree -- I love the shot -- LIke the outside motion - and
it puts me right there... how I'd love to be on the Spadina line headed for
a thrift store or back "home" to my friend's apartment.
The colors are subtle and painterly.

BTW - I've jsut heard on the news that our government is considering (or
is) delaying the
necessity of having a passport to get back in from visiting Canada -
maybe I can figure
a way to travel to Toronto again before the passport again becomes required.

Thanks everybody for your comments!

You seem (as a whole) to ratify my thoughts - it's an okay shot, some
good ideas in there, but not quite enough to hold one's attention.
The good part (trees whizzing by) is not prominent/obvious enough, and
there's not enough going on inside the streetcar to make things more
interesting.

I guess my first impression was right. Stuff to work on for the next time!

Thanks!

cheers,
frank

Frank,

The elbow sticking into the frame from the right is
distracting, and the trees aren't blurred enough to
catch my interest. There is nothing else going on.

Shot from the front of the car, so that we could see
peoples' faces, this could be a really good shot.

Knarf - I think the concept has potential but I'd like the whizzing trees in
