The new one still has a distracting pair of high heels (which you can't
easily crop out without significantly changing the composition).  Might
as well keep the jeans for a bit more human feel.  I do prefer the
brighter look of the new one, try bumping it on the jeans picture to see
how you like it.

I might have cut even more on the left and correspondingly at the bottom, but 
the ladies legs and red colour where great.
