Visited yesterday The Israel Museum in Jerusalem. They have very interesting new acquisitions on display in their photo collection. And the exhibition of modern design was most interesting as well. Why am I saying all this? Because, Paul, methinks the second picture could easily decorate on of the walls there... It is simple but it is still exceptionally good photograph to remember these times by. I prefer to shoot at that coffee shop later in the day, when the light is more from interior fixtures, but I take the light I get:-). But I've included out of focus foreground objects in other pics of this series, and I'm not sure that they aren't a plus when taken collectively. They demonstrate that the perspective is limited to the view from one chair in the shop. But perhaps I'm just rationalizing a shortcoming:-).
