definitely the color one.  You might have the best of bought worlds by
desaturating the surroundings a bit.

 Great shot. If you'd posted it in BW I'd have asked to see it in color. I 
 think it works better in color than it would in black and white.

 Another shot that I see in there, is one cropped with the glove still in the 
 lower right, but not showing any of the dirt and leaves, just the pink mitten 
 against the black and white concrete might give a stronger monochrome/color 
 juxtaposition than with the brown leaves and cigarette butt.

I don't think it needs to be BW, I'd be tempted to give it a hand 
tinted treatment anyway too keep the pink in the glove.

Very nice, Frank.  I don't think it would work in bw.  The fact that
it is a pink glove -- probably a little girl's glove -- adds a lot of
character and emotion to the image.
