I appreciate hearing your reactions, Larry.

My intent was for the model's shape and pose to be largely in
silhouette and have the spotlight pick out her eyes. So the darkness
is intentional.

PESO - lady in red

I wanted to try out something more sophisticated than I have tried
before. I put together projected shapes (a white horizontal bar), gels
(red and blue from left and right), and a all-white background. That
required five strobes -- one more than I even own so I had to rent
one.

I carefully metered out everything, I let the makeup artist have all
the time she needed and the result is I was able to get this shot with
just slight Lightroom slider adjustments, mainly exposure and
contrast.

Model is Muirina Fae from Victoria BC.
She is wearing a red latex catsuit, bustier and cincher from Artifice Clothing.

645z, 90mm/2.8 at f/8, 1/125th sec, 200 iso.
