Do, it's good fun and it can teach anyone a lot about composition which is so much more difficult when you have to account for 360 degrees AOV than just the relatively narrow angle that even a fisheye can capture. One, involves parking the vehicle miles from your camera and doing some hiking back to the panorama location. :) The other involves moving the vehicle between individual shots of the panorama. That way, it never appears in any of the individual pictures. If you have a friend assist you, they can move the vehicle for you between shots, and it wouldn't even slow down your picture taking. Even with the vehicle, it's still an interesting shot. I have yet to create an interesting panorama without obvious seams, and it's something I want to perfect in the near future. I should also add that I haven't really put much effort into panoramas so far, but now that I have the DS, I think I will give it a try. take care, Glen

Hi Paul, Yes it is a lot of fun, just don't go trying to produce one with WA lenses if you haven't attempted to compensate for parallax error in the tripod head, stitching then becomes a nightmare. I've got mine nicely set up now, it's easy to dial in compensation for any particular lens. So now I can shoot panos with subject matter at any distance from the lens easily. Good luck, I look forward to seeing some of your attempts :-) Cheers, Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.ozemail.com.au/~distudio/publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998
