Works perfectly for me. Once I'd got the position right (approx 1 metre away from the screen which is a 27" iMac) it locked in and I could look round the image just like you said. So is it 2 shots 75mm apart on the rail? I sort of get 3D but can't quite get dots 3 & 4 to merge. I tried several distances. I think the images need to be smaller. Thanks for the feedback guys! With the 1440 image full screen on my 27" monitor It's most comfortable for me from about 1m/3' away from the screen, once locked on I can keep the image focused without any strain, key is to keep your head in the same position, look around with your eyes only. That's an old technique, but an effective one. I was able to get a bit of the 3D effect, but only partially and for a fleeting moment. I think that's because I am viewing it at home on my laptop. I will try again at the office on a larger monitor. How far from the monitor do you think it works best? Clever trick with the macro rail. I can see it after moving farther away from my monitor, when I'm sitting close I can't cross my eyes enough. I think it's different for everyone, experiment with the viewing distance if you don't get it at first try. Hi Rob, After crossing my eyes and fingers, I got 4 dots (and 4 images). Did you send a 4D version by mistake? ;-) Or was that "3D" the size of that body feature in the foreground? ;-) I think I need the ol'-fashioned 3D-scope (and to sleep in the middle of the night). PESO My first stereo image
Hi Team, I decided to attempt to make a stereo image that can be viewed without aids, I can see it but can you? The viewing method is to open the image to full screen, face the screen perpendicularly and centered. Once set up cross your eyes so that three images appear, then focus on the middle of the three white dots and relax your eyes, you should then be able to look around the "middle 3D" image in comfort, if not try adjusting your viewing distance.
