Re: PESO Pano before the renovation
Yes vertical, only one row of 6 and one or two shots for zenith for the 10-17. One zenith would be enough, 2 results in easier full auto stitching. If you tilt the camera 5 or 10 degrees up only one row of 6 is enough leaving a larger nadir patch to fix. I tilt the camera 5 degrees down and put the tripod legs as close together as gravity allows. Your 16-50 and my 16-45 need 3 rows of 10 for a full 180x360. 30 shots vs 7-8! Interesting. I use one row of ten for my real estate panos with the DA 16-50 at 16mm and vertical. They auto stitch quite nicely. Re: PESO Pano before the renovation
3x10 should work nicely if you have set the nodal point correctly. One row is less sensitive for nodal point errors. In the field I sometimes shoot 1x14 vertical handheld or from a monopod with tilted ballhead. Succes Toine 2009/5/3 paul stenquist pnstenqu...@comcast.net: Interesting. Distorted while panning/rotating the pano? That would be normal the viewer projects the image on screen like a normal wide angle lens would. PESO Pano before the renovation
Our university is building a new library. To be more precise an old existing building will be renovated. I plan to shoot a series of pano's during the 2 years of the rebuilding. Today I started shooting the empty (old) building: http://www.repiuk.nl/images/pano2vr/pano_whal_28apr2009_1.html http://www.repiuk.nl/images/pano2vr/pano_whal_28apr2009r_6.html K20D DA10-17 +2,0,-2 bracketing. Warning the (Flash) files are large (4-5Mb). No lights inside and heavy overcast weather outside. What else to do but shoot HDR. Maybe a little overdone what do you think?
