I knew some wag would bring that up :)

I do dip deep into my archives frequently for PUG and
generally don't send anything in
unless I feel something I shot fits the theme for the month.

For this one, deciding which one of a whole load of photos
I could find or wanted to use was the issue.
I refrained from just grabbing one from my book though :)

PUG etiquette

2006-08-19 Thread Tom Reese
What is the consensus of opinion for the PUG? I have a shot that I took for the
abandoned theme but I have something a hell of a lot better in my archive.

Do you put shots in there that you took just for the PUG or do you pull photos
out of your archive for it?

I don't want to cheat but I don't see much sense in putting bad pictures in
there either.

thanks

Hi Tom,

You are free to pick from your archive, of course.

If you made the photo and used Pentax gear, you're fine AFAIK. No
requirement to shoot it recently at all.

I put good photos that I had taken into the PUG until I ran out of
pictures that I wanted to show, and then I started taking pictures for
the PUG.
Unfortunately, that didn't last, and now I just don't contribute.

Yes.

I'm my worst/best critic, except for rare images, if I have any doubts about
the Image I won't show it.
