One would hope so. After all, imaging (all varieties) is supposed to be the
forte of the Asahi Optical Co.
FYI, For any astronometers out there, Pentax optics (refractor telescopes &
especially eyepieces) are considered one of, if not the best by most most
folks in most groups, such as Oraoptical orange County Astronomer's (OCA) in
CA, USA, and by many of the outlets (stores) such as Oceanside Photography &
Telescopes (OPT).
I own rifle scopes from Leopold, Springfield armory, American Optics &
Pentax. They are all great scopes, especially Leopold and US Optics, but the
Pentax is clearer, with higher contrast and resolution than all of them.
It's on my Browning 25-06. The US Optics scope is also excellent, built like
a tank and is the one I put on my 50 BMG to take the punishing recoil.
Gawd I love hyper velocity long range darts!
