Re: Peso: Blackbird and Friends
The SR 71 is still a hell of an aircraft. Most impressive! You can see a lot of X-15 in it from that angle imho. Cool pic! Steve, Wonderful shot. Is that the Air Space Museum Annex out by Dulles Airport? The Blackbird is special, but the Space Shuttle in the background makes the shot. Regards, Bob S. Re: Peso: Blackbird and Friends
Yes, It's the Udvar-Hazy Center. $15 to park the car free after that and an amazing museum. The Blackbird just stuns everyone because it is so much bigger than you think it would be. And, of course, because it was built in the early 60's. From a photography POV, the place just oozes with amazing angles. I was using the Oly with the 14 (28 equivalent) and that is the right lens, unless maybe a 24. On Mon, Oct 15, 2012 at 10:12 AM, Bob Sullivan rf.sulli...@gmail.com wrote: Steve, Wonderful shot. Make that $15 to park the car and after that it's free and an amazing museum. Now I'm somehow doing cut-and-paste-o's.
