Really nice scenery, Steve. Exposure and resolution right on. I just get the
"centered" message over and over. I know the river bend has to be accommodated,
but some primary elements could be relocated through cropping.

Re: Peso: Goshen Pass

2011-05-29 Thread Jack Davis
This shows that you do have a lot of cropping choices. Thought it might have
been a vertical. Unless this is another frame. If not, I'd include a
substantial amount more of the rock at the bottom. Also, Is it my monitor or is
the image low on the left?
I'd straighten it up (even if the stream were actually tilted) and crop the
right side between the medium size couple of rocks sit on the right bank and
remove the upper left small leafless branches.
Since you are looking at more picture, you might choose to crop some of the
left and leave more on the right. I actually prefer the right side elements.

Re: Peso: Goshen Pass

2011-05-29 Thread Steven Desjardins
It's another frame. I took about 8. There is another with the river
more to one side. It was hard with this lens and my position to get
the rock and the misting on the clouds.
