that open and scenic, plus the tree
Is intended as the primary element.
I understand it may lack sufficient 
strength to carry the scene.

excellent, and the tree holds my interest with its shape and lighting.
The dike and path along the bottom help too.

composition 
was to crop a slight bit off the left edge. Only thing I wanted to see there 
was the 
small tree centered in the distance.
