Re: Program A mirror problem?
I have a Program A that the mirror stays up on, even if you push the mirror down my hand it just flips back to the up position. Any ideas on what this could be? The magnet? The batteries? I don't know, but pull it down by force sounds bad to me. :( regards, Alan Chan _ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Re: Program A mirror problem?
Hi Alan, No real force was needed to pull the mirror down, there was no resistance. The Batteries seem okay as the shutter speed display works okay. Try moving the film feed sprocket in the forward direction with a clean finger. This might get the mechanism back in register. This happened to me with three different single lens reflex cameras an ME Super and two Alpa Reflexes.
