The shares are set up and I've begun copying files to the new server.
Taking it slow & easy because I don't want to risk over-stressing my existing
NAS (I call it the toaster-NAS because it's about the size of a toaster & has
two drive slots).

It came back this morning. I had a few problems, but it's working now ... I
think it's working now.
Problem #1 - the first few times I turned it on it came up with the language
selection & I had to set the date & time. Not sure why it did that several times
& I'm not sure how I "fixed" the problem, but it's now starting up to the
regular info screen.
I had to dig out the user manual to figure out how to set it up for back button
focus & get the RAW format set back to DNG.
Anyway, it appears to be fixed and I am quite pleased with the speed with which
Precision Camera turned it around.
In OTHER news. I finally got my home-built NAS server up & running. Two drive
pools configured as "RAID 6"; a 10.42 TiB and a 5.20 TiB.
I still have to learn how to set up the shares and network mapping so I can copy
my files into the storage.
Still got to figure out a backup solution. I don't want "cloud".
