Boz, Unknown maximum magnification: For the not FREE or IF types this can be calculated from the shortest focus distance. FA* 500/4,5: cap type (clip-on, slip-on), internal cap diameter, cap material (rubber, plastic, metal) A new 500mm lens ? 1000/8: cap type (clip-on, slip-on), internal cap diameter, cap material (rubber, plastic, metal) Metal slip on cap.
