Going OT: Re: First Brisbane PDML a huge success!
Jos, you forgot Bulgaria- the world cup soccer team which (2 cups ago perhaps?) celebrated a certain goal with a mound of athletic bodies piled up on the pitch, during which one of them thought it was a good idea to shove his hand up another player's pants to grab, hmm, another 'B' place- which unfortunately for them was broadcast for the world to see. With incentive like that I suppose it's not really a surprise they didn't win that tournament (or any since..) :) Ryan - Original Message - From: "Jostein" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, March 01, 2004 8:16 AM Subject: Re: First Brisbane PDML a huge success! > > - Original Message - > From: "Ryan Lee" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Oh silly me- there aren't just 2 countries in the world. Cheers to that John! I had been having the longest day (or 2 or 3) prior and was so afraid it'd show. Quite wonderful the energy you can draw from good company! So PDMLers have found themselves face to face in Brisbane too- another achievement (can I say?) for the list? Of equipment, I have to say it was bit surreal having so much gear all over the table, especially considering the ToPDML snaps- some kind of cognitive dissonance/ deja vu milkshake. :) Still all good though! John, I think Tanya's lens was an F 50 1.7 and mine was a Sigma 28-70 2.8. But in all fairness, it was dim and Tanya's ist D was radiating mesmerising hypnotic waves.. Anyway! Great success just like John said, and should be done again soon! Perhaps with some international visitors perhaps? Cheers, Ryan PS.
